Over cereal this morning, I came across an article in Northeast Performer about this young man, Rahbi, and he called himself the “Prince of Glam-Soul.” His performances are elaborate and the over-the-top style is inspired by, well, Prince and Michael Jackson. Hailing from Atlanta, Rahbi is a force to reckon with a velvety smooth voice and enough soul to knock ya back ten years, at least. A veteran performer, Rahbi trained with the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, so it’s no wonder that he approaches his stage show with the perspective of one trained in theater; it makes for a complete one-two punch concert experience and no detail is overlooked. He claimed Southeast Performer‘s cover and he’s one to look out for.  Try out “Edge of My Life” and “Another Chance” on MySpace.
